Transparency & Integrity in Language Work
Dr. John W. Edmerson approaches biblical Hebrew and Greek as a lifelong preacher and disciplined student of Scripture, not as a formally credentialed linguist. This work was strengthened by human collaborators with original-language proficiency and by digital study tools such as Logos, Accordance, and STEP Bible — used for access, comparison, and cross-checking, not as independent lexical authorities.
Primary reference traditions include BDAG; Kittel's TDNT; Colin Brown's NIDNTT; A. T. Robertson's grammatical work; and, for Hebrew background, BDB, TDOT, NIDOTTE, and HALOT. Scripture references should be read in their full literary and canonical context.
The goal is not to replace trained scholars or comprehensive lexicons, but to offer careful, transparent, pastorally useful word studies that encourage deeper study and faithful practice.
